Tire Choices...

Postby square head » Fri Sep 05, 2008 8:42 am

Gents,

My options for front streching are:

Conti ContiSportContact 2 - $107
Pirelli PZero Nero - $132
Yokohama S.drive - $89

I've spent 30 minutes looking for any of the above stretched with no luck. Which of the above stretch the bestest?

I'm pretty sure those yokos look like crap. Traditionally continentals stretch very well. I have seen some nice Ps too but I can't remember what model they were.

Randy don't be silly.

After a brief discussion with Neil, I'm grabbing a set of 195-40's in the Conti to replace the 205-40 T1-S.

I had the Sport Contact 2's on the old Mk3, 205/40-17. They weren't the greatest in the wet, but I did like them otherwise. I think you will be a happy camper.
