7s are abundant - 165/40r-16s are not

8s are not abundant - 195/40r-16s are

that's the thing. I believe the 8's have a bit of "dish" to them. that punched out lip look.

i think i need 7s for that OEM look.

they look so good black (ala mr couper) but the are kinda nasty in raw form... *hides*

i hate them too. in fact i think they are near the ugliest p wheels ever. but i want em to make p-slots for OEM+ 20/25/30 Jahre Jubilaums GTIolf

Has anyone ever ditched the rear quaterwindows on a 4dr? One piece glass in the rear doors - that'd smooth it out a lot.

i just put that up for wheel comparison. i want the 7s for OEMness, but the 8s for fitment and stretchability of a common tire size.

i think 7s w/ 195/40s is the way to go. unless i can find some rare size in europe for dirt.
