All emissions stuff gone.
All exhaust and intake plumbing sorted.
Installing water meth kit.

Fill 'er up with fluids and rock.
Gonna run with stock injectors, maf and ecu for a little while to troubleshoot stuff and get new ecu recoded to immob.

It's taking a bloody long time cause I'm attempting to tuck wires when convienient. I'm enjoying it.

Whenever I see a simply opportunity to hide / remove something I do.

Nothing to crazy. Yet. Goal is to make functional and hit the power numbers I want this year (and drive it).

In the winter I will hide / remove as much as possible. I want to go nuts hiding stuff in fenders and dash.

Gretta fired up last evening at 11:46 pm on the first attempt.
Some oil residue is burning off (normal)
Exhaust leak (I hope post turbo)...

Both flanges on exhaust manifold were machined flat. The soaky water test will tell much tonight.

I need another night to sort wiring, leak and detail the engine bay. Need a few more vacuum fittings.

I am going to sort a much as possible and make driveable before taking her to VW Waterloo to get ECU re-coded.

I will run big injectors and RS4 MAF with stock IC at 5-8 psi. Then I'll tune with water meth.

Where is a good place to get Meth Randy?

I do over use that saying... :)

Me thinks the leak is between manifold and turbo. It's a two man job to tighten and I was the only one around. All everything under the car has been refastened and is ready for driving (in theory)

I recall reading something about a product you can spray into the intake tract (direct into TB) that will combust and burn into a very bright coloured smoke to check for leaks. Keep in mind I have no cat so there really isn't much to damage / clog / foul. Any ideas?

Drove Gretta around the block. It is way, way, way too loud for road use.

Randy, what muffler did you recommend I use?

Work travel is killing my Gretta time.

I'm no Randy, but I'd throw a Flowmaster small block chevy muffler on there. I'd run an outlet to each side, coming out through the valence behind each tire. Then, when I go to something different this winter, it'll be your thing.

Had a difficult time getting a hold of methanol.

Found a local rodder with a Vette TT with 1200 whp running straight meth injection. 4 dyno runs = 4 litres of meth.

Meth - $15 / gallon
DI Water - $2 / gallon
