Insurance companies are odd.
The only way State Farm will insure it is with a $2k deductible. They list it's value at $100k.
Full coverage is $84 per month.

No kidding it's odd.

None of those numbers make sense.

Based on that coverage the first thing I'd do after signing up is drive into a wall and order a 991 with the payout

Thanks DW :)

I haven't decided what I will do for seating yet. The SRD could be a good fit if I stitch some leather to the bolsters.

Anybody up for an assembly party this weekend? Say, Saturday after lunch?
There's not much to do, just poking around mostly, so BYOB

:)

I'll print out some assembly diagrams and bookmark some threads for the bumpers. The rest is pretty straight forward I think.

Historically I've only taken cars apart but I figure if I apply the same principals in reverse it should prove to be successful

Pretty much. Push instead of pull. Clockwise instead of counter-clockwise.

There is no opposite of swear. It is it's own opposite.

Do you mind if I invite my buddy Eric? He was at your old place years ago for a fire out back and he's a big gear head. He's just as socially awkward as the rest of us so he'll fit right in. :)

Yeah man, I know Eric, bring him along too.

1:30 works for me! Sounds like there will be some light rain in the morning, so with any luck we will be all dry in the afternoon.

Thanks for coming out guys, it was fun!
Gregosh popped by literally five minutes after Rob and Eric left.

Oh Rick, while cleaning up I found those bumper braces (#14) that I was looking for. I should be able to put them in place without removing the bumper, just taking a few screws out and moving them up into place.

It was a great time!

Now I can say I worked on a 911. :)

Greg messaged me and told me he saw Eric and I pull away. :)
