My horse needs new dishes

Well, the BBS two piece wheels turned out to be one piece non bbs, as was suggested by Raj. Good news is I can use zinc plated hex bolts to keep the cost down

Tires are good, so there's that... what I might end up doing is seeing how they look on the car first, then if I'm liking it I might run them as-is for a while. Otherwise, I'll split the wheels/tires, sell the wheels, widen the 15" steelies I got for cheap that were advertised as 16" steelies and I didn't find out till I picked them up east of Toronto, then install the tires on them. Hopefully I can get enough from the sale of the 2 piece BBS wheels to fund the removal/installation of the tires on the steels.

Moving on, I'm up for suggestions on width/offset. I love Rick's old setup but I'm pretty sure I'm lower than that now and wonder if I'll have clearance. Guess I'll be best to mock it up at ride height.

Excited!

Unless you're going to run tiny tires like I had for the Corrado steelies you'd definitely have to go with a less aggressive setup.

Real or not I think those meshies could look pretty good on there once you screw in some bolts!

I probably had the front wheels on and off five times tonight. Tried it; rubbed. Tried it; rubbed. Etc. I raised the coils a few threads and it's passable. Hammered and cut the fenders like a true chop shop lol.
First time I've driven that car on something other than winter tires!

Since you have the bolt on flares, you can hollow out everything behind there to make them fit. Unless you're worried about keeping the body original :P

Ha, I don't have to do much to hollow it out

The driver side tire is about 1/2" closer to the fender lip... is this common?

In my experience it is... both my mkI and mkIV were off by 1/4-1/2" one side to the other.

Should have Estorils on it in the near future. There's also a set of Sebrings I think they're called from a Corrado on kijiji now.
