Starting to be a problem

Postby Mandeep D » Wed Dec 04, 2013 1:02 pm

Went to move the S4 into a better winter location, and the starter spins, but the bendix doesn't pull it in. :o

After some googleing it appears the starter is the part which is at the beginning of the S4 assembly process, and not the downpipes, as originally thought.

The purpose of this thread is to help me remember where the car is after it gets covered in snow.

Is it bad that my takeaway from this thread is validation that resisting buying it was a good decision? :P

:D

A better takeaway may be that one should not ignore ones improperly stored aging finicky German car for extended periods of time..... unless that's what you were going to do too!!

If my silver Audi ownership is to be an indication then that's exactly what would have happened LOL

Future S4 location will no longer be a problem, due to the implementation of the S4 relocation program launched this weekend.

By launched this weekend, I mean I dragged it where I wanted it with the tractor.
