MSD

Call it "The grey thing" with a subtitle "the not so daily daily" for now... I will come up with a better name later, or someone make a suggestion.

it can be done so they're reversed, but as in the fourseasons bracket, there are just two slots... the coils *could* shift in the slots. It would be more secure if the bolts went through a hole instead of a slot.

There are a tonne of pics in that thread eh?

I'm fine with them just facing inwards and being more secure.

And yep.. tons of pics of basically the same thing over and over and over and 0ver.... :)

Update: Back in school which means tons of time for the car. Funny how that works.

What ever happened to the fab of the brackets? I am ready and willing to be a trial dummy if nessesary. :)

I have three flat plates on the bench... just need to form them. If they're good (they should be) then I'll probably have them made in stainless.

thanks for the kick... I'll try and get at it this week.

I'll be out your way on the weekend on the way to Gzregzorz's house... I can try it on!

How much $$ am I looking at for the coils? I may as well go ahead and MSD it... it'll probably solve the intermittent hesitation issue.

I was thinking of coming back in tonight to work on the passat... I'll bring a bracket with me so you and Rick can both try it out. Call me on my cellular when you have a time. I may be busy till about 9:30 but call anyways - just having some kids over to watch a movie.

edit: that sounds bad.
