I don't know what "chevy car/truck bolt pattern" is... if it's early Chev car, it's probably 5 on 4-3/4".

It's kind of like a modular hub part... All wires are built the same regardless of bolt circle and then you attatch that piece.

Like I said get some hubcentric rings made up and ovalize the holes by a whole 1.5mm. The stands are always multi lug patterened so a chevy one will have the 5x5 as one of the patterns.

ask him what the bolt pattern is, in inches, not "chevy car/truck". 80's S10 would be 5 on 4-3/4".

looks like dayton makes proper adapters for modern bolt configurations.
http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/wheels/otdadapter.html
of course no listing of sizes. also a guy on e-bay that drills them to size from the looks of it.

I was gonna ask why this is in the corrado forum but then I saw that steve started the thread

This is the most difficult seller ever. He won't tell me the city that he lives, doesn't really seem interested in selling.

how the fook does he intend on selling them without disclosing his location? IIRC he's from the niagara area from what I have learned in the past. I know that helps you zero.

Every adapter I have seen with chevy type BPs has been multilug with as many patterns that would fit squeezed in...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wire-Wheel-Adapters-Set-Dayton-Style-5-Lug-Nut-6-or-4_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ400008562162
says he does custom drilling.

I honestly can't picture another wheel that would suit that beetle, as well as those do. Although, I don't know him, so, whatever. Lowball to the point that he can't have children anymore. If those don't end up on the Benz or Gretta, I may cry myself to sleep.

I'd love to see that shiz on gretta.

Oh dip I should gold plate these and throw them on the 4. How deliciously tacky would that be?!

I have failed again... when at a wrecking yard in florida there was a 560SEC on 18" wires... I could have at least grabbed the adapters. I wish I could send myself messages from the future. The wheels were all rusty and looked kind of rad. No room in the beetle all packed up or I probably would have bought them

So, what wasn't clear on the post was that he owns a tire shop. I went to the shop and he asked if the tires that were on it were the right size for me. He put 2 BRAND NEW 205-45-17 tires on two wheels for me to match the other practically nearly new tires on the other two wheels.

It was super legit, really nice guy.

For my future reference:

The three sets of 5 bolt holes are:
a - 5x127
b - 5x122
c - 5x115

Looks like I will only need to slightly elongate the 5x115 holes.
I will have four aluminum hub sleeves made up to center the wheel perfectly. ~$50

Peachy!
