Going a different route than pictured above.
More subtle.

Just got off the phone with the owner of Air Assisted. The $15 manual paddle valves are the most reliable way of running an air system he says. Also the cheapest.
Brass ball valve internals.. nothing more reliable than that! Everybody wants fancy electronic valves, so he doesn't sell too many manual ones. Although he gets many orders from tow truck drivers!

the only thing about manual levers and accompanying needle gauge is it's more difficult to determine what exact pressure you're running at. When five or ten psi can subtly change your ride, it's not as easy to see as with a digital readout. Don't get me wrong, I love analog gauges (see '32) but to fine fine tune an air system, digital > analog. Most people who called saying they hate air suspension hadn't spent enough time playing with the pressures to see what works best on their car. I heard of a number of people (Bob Hilton of Hilton Motorsports for one) who went to the Air Ride Tech track day tell me they thought they had their air system driving pretty good until the guys from ART played around with it.

I agree, your B might not play the part with a digital gauge, but for reference:

There it's all in one gauge, too.

I like the thought of all in one gauge.. and this will probably be something I do later on, something hidden perhaps.

But right now, $65 for a pair of two needle analog gauges looks better than $300+ for the digital one with senders.

What I am doing is piecing this together with robust parts that are cheap. I won't feel guilty doing upgrades in the future when the parts were not expensive.

The gizmo with the two tubes is my switch. I was testing different tube materials on the barbs.. holy those barbs are strong. No chance of leaking there! (little at least)

The 6 port jobby is the "manifold". One line from the tank to my dash, four ports going to switches, one to tank pressure gauge. One port will be plugged.

ah seeee

I've got some air line if you need some.

I wonder if anyone's got a scuba tank lying around... they hold incredible pressure, and look sweet to boot. I've seen them mounted in package trays...

What I did on saturday:
found my motor mount is shot and difficult to remove.. I'm paying somebody to replace it
fixed my window
installed a perfect hidden switch location

What dave shilling and I did monday:
Ran shared power cable back for amp & compressor
Ran trigger wire for amp
tapped into rear defrost for compressor switching control (defrost never worked)
ran 8mm hose from trunk to console
ran 6mm hoses to all corners
hooked up gauges and set them into gaping dash hole
hooked up hidden fm antenna for stereo (weee cbc radio!)
set manifold in place and ran hoses to gauges
hooked up the switches
leak tested the system and made a few connection adjustments (no leaks!)

What's left:
move stereo to under dash position for more comfortable hose real estate
make brackets and install bags
pretty up my gauge installation
be pimp

Money, you're being conservative. Kids wouldn't be having fun in the trunk if there weren't more than 12 in there.
