Not sure if I am a bigger idiot for not buying those, or for not buying the P-slots from Rob.

I think Rob and I are the bigger idiots for never actually using them on our cars (add THs to the list on my side, at least you bought those lol)

I think I am the bigger idiot for getting rid of a syncro passat, widened steelies and p-slots. Ugh.

Fuck those widened steelies would have been so perfect for the MK2 with some 165-45s. :(

Grab a set and I can hook you up with the dude that did them... super reasonable rates and he's just in Elora. Whole project would probably cost less than the bolts for your RSs :P

If I run short axles in the Ghia I could get some steelies!

I have a dual pattern drilled in the rotors, Porsche and Chevy 5x4.75. Chevy is way easier and cheaper to find steelies!

I'd probably stick with the double staggered still. hmmmm... Next year :)

So much love for these Phaeton Challenge wheels. So subtle yet so cool for being bolt-up and hollow spoked!
And at $800 for the set for 18x8.5? Ungh.

Does anyone know the name of those new 18" wheels with a full face 5 spoke design?
They are on an Indigo blue 4door MK5 Golf on Instagram somewheres and I cant find it again.

Weird to call em 5 spoke even because they are literally full-face blank wheels with 5 tiny windows cut out at the perimeter of the face.

If someone sees it on IG can you tag me in it or if you know the name I am just curious about em!

Nah it's some sorta cast wheel that comes in wheel silver with a bit of concave to them.

I think they are fairly new, they look like this:
