I feel like I have influenced you.

Rick, is that the same green that you can occasionally see on Matrices? That really rare green?

^ Truck yeah. Hey I just had a thought... make sure to get one with the 5.3 and we can throw together a ghetto turbo setup when you're bored of it :D

It is! I've only ever seen it on a Camry in the flesh, such a rad colour!! If it actually came on the Tacomas I'd be incredibly temped.

Found some more
Image
This Toyota Tacoma has a really nice look with a nice 6″ drop and a set of shiny BBS RS wheels. The body has also been redone and painted a nice bold hue of blue.

Image
Front BBS RS wheel specification is 17×8 +7 wrapped in 205/40/17. The lips have been polished out and half height center caps installed on the wheels.

Image
Rear BBS RS wheel specification is 17×9 +27 wrapped in 215/40/17. The blue paint looks pretty deep in the night time in this shot.

The results are crazy. Shows some of the many advantages of dropping a ton of weight.

I wonder what the mfg cost difference is between the aluminium and reg old steelz.

I'm worried about insurance rates... repairing an aluminum bodied vehicle is insanely expensive, and being the best selling truck they're going to be paying out on a lot of fixes. This may eventually lead to cheaper repair methods but if I know one thing about insurance companies I know that they won't be the ones picking up the difference until the price drops.
