Professional Transporter Required

Postby wide_load » Wed Jan 15, 2014 4:24 pm

Hey Guyz!

Looking into Limo service for the big day and wondering if anyone has any suggestions / contacts in the area.

The last Limo I rented (HS Prom) we ended up being double booked (with out friends funny enough) and overall it was a horrible experience. Hence, looking for recommendations!

I don't know about limousines, but how about change it up a bit and get escorted in an ice cream truck?

Is the big day public btw?

I'd drive you in the '32, but she'd have to get a ride with someone else 8)

Sorry, I don't have anything constructive to offer.

Opps, might have forgotten to update the other thread. August 23rd, Cambridge Mill. :)

Ice cream truck is a great idea, and I wanted to do something else other than the limo deal but as everything is taking place at the Mill, it's basically a ride there and will have to accommodate 6-8 people each ride. No one will probably even see us getting dropped off as I think we will be there an hour before others as it stands now.

Thanks for the offer, and if for some reason I need a personal chauffeur that day I'll hit you up. :)

Cambridge Mill is a great venue!

Only limo experience I have is a guy in Brantford who I chose for his bottomfeeder prices (as it was for a laugh anyways). His broken Cadillac and lack of an umbrella on a rainy day did not disappoint! If this sounds appealing I can dig up his contact lol

Is there a company that does that or was it a favor? Might be more entertaining than a limo bus. :)

That was a special circumstance that probably doesn't apply anywhere else.... We got married on the island in Stratford. Parking near the island is bad during festival season, so we rented the double decker bus for the day and shuttled all the guests from our reception hotel down to the island :)

I don't think they operate is anymore :(

Update: Finally narrowed down our decision to 2-3 companies. Went to visit the first (2nd most expensive out of the whole group) and the limos looked like they were from the 80's and had been partied in since then. :(

Also, looking into fun buses/trolleys now. :)
