That fish taco looks so good.

I tried a Stiegl Grapefruit and wow that's tasty! The grapefruit flavour is so good but I was surprised by how any beer notes really took the backseat. There is a light beer finish though. So delicious... I wish I had more alcohol though (not an alcoholic I swear).

Yeah, the Radler is pretty tatty, but it's an authentic Radler (2.5%).

Was just looking at the Stiegl website. They have an alcohol free wheat beer that they market as a Sport Weisse. A post activity isotonic beverage. Waaaay better than gatorade.

Awesome: fruitful cherry tree in the backyard.

Not awesome: finding out it's not a pesticide allergy, but a cherry allergy :(

The few I had were delicious

Oh man that sucks!! :(

I was always curious about the pesticide allergy since you specifically linked it to cherries... I know somebody with a pesticide allergy and they can get hit from just about anything.

Randy, I don't remember if you had tried them without the skins? Cherries that is.

Victoria looked up the allergy with Dr Google and it looks like it's actually a tree pollen allergy. The reason I have trouble with most skinned fruit is because when the flower is pollinated and develops into a fruit, the pollen develops into the skin of the fruit or something. This explains why I can't have cherries, apples, plums, peaches or any other tree fruits without first cooking them. This is also why I can't leave the windows open overnight when we sleep, trees release their pollen in the early mornings. It's all related.
Thankfully cooking or baking breaks down the chemical that I react to, so i can still enjoy the fruits in other ways.

Yes!! Jerky may happen tomorrow depending on what else I have on the go. I've got a top sirloin roast in the freezer and everything.

Got the smoker set up and an exhaust rigged up to the old wood stove chimney.
