Anybody had this before?

Seems to be a Japanese wheat beer. The label had me at hello.

DW, 12 of anything you've never seen in ontario before. High ABV (belgians), or smoky, fruity or hoppy. Its all good!

My cousin was in town from Madison, Wisconsin. He brought me a few beers.

Image

Many of these are of the American Pale Ale style which typically possess a more mild hop character than an India Pale Ale.

Ale Asylum Hopalicious American Pale Ale
Ale Asylum Bedlam Trappist IPA
New Glarus Brewing Co. Moon Man "No Coast" Pale Ale
Tyranea Brewing Co. Stone Tepee Pale Ale
Peal Street Brewery Pearl Street Pale Ale

I'm definitely a fan of the first three, the last two are just okay in comparison.

HOLY SMOKEY BEER

Had a bottle of this with some BBQ and the whole time I was wishing I had some Camp 31 ribs to go with it.

YES! You can distinguish between the smoke flavour and the beer flavour if you try. It's so good!

I'll pop in tomorrow and pick it up if it's there... This new LCBO is right nearby our house.

Just had one of these:

DW I grabbed you a German Smokebeer.

Also grabbed a Dutchy Originals Organic Old Ruby Ale.

Was good... Lighter beer than I thought it would be. Tasted like a Rickard's Red but a touch hoppier?

Thes two are great, but completely different. Image
Hoppy wheat beer. Was a bit of a surprise, but good.

Very traditional Weissbier. Similar to the Hacker-Pschorr Weizen.
