Thanks guys!

In other news I receive at least 3 emails a day from Your.PatriotSurvival.Plan <america.the.strong@start-survival-preparedness.us> here's a couple examples:

You and your family are NOT going to their liberal-Auschwitz, even if they can't wait to push you through the door...

You see, there are three clear signs that FEMA camps will open their gates soon.

1) The financial crisis
2) The food crisis
3) Martial law

Obama has just signed Executive Order 16303, which gives him the right to institute Martial Law whenever he wants to.

This is the beginning of the end.

But YOU can make your own happy ending...and laugh in Obama's sorry face.

It's easier than you think. American Patriots are already doing this...and Obama's got NOTHING on them.

See this Sickening video before it's taken-down:
http://safe.such-life-survivalscheme.us

Just found out something crucial and rushed to let you know.

Martial law has gotten dangerously close.

Right now, we're literally one step from having feds knock down our doors.

Almost all the steps leading to martial law are now completed... all it takes is one more spark to ignite the disaster.

And the match has just been lit.

Now, if this wasn't enough, here's something that will REALLY make your blood boil:

Everything's been planned and implemented with taxpayer money. YOUR money.

They forced you to build this nazi tyranny for them.

And now here's the result. Watch this video to see what they've done:

Martial-law shocking report, see the full disclosed story here: http://safe.start-survival-preparedness.us

I haven't marked them as spam yet because they are inexplicably entertaining and I always read them through.

Execulink told me I could cancel all my bell lines at work when we switched to VoIP, even our fax line which carried the internet. Well, the internet went down today and they're telling me I can't get it reconnected for 11 days. No internet for 11 days. I basically ran the shop from my hotspot today with my dad at home with a VoIP phone plugged in just to answer calls. Anger. Thanks for the help execulink, we've only been your customer for at least a decade.

I don't want to bring this thread down, and I am not looking for your pity or your sympathy.

MS sucks, it's awful for the person who is living with the illness. That said, the potential domino effects on the rest of the family are potentially worse.

My father, a man of pride, a man who worked his ass off to save for retirement has been tethered to his home for the last 6 years. To deal with this loss of freedom, he turned to alcohol to isolate him from the annoyance of not being able to do anything.

The interesting thing is that he stayed *relatively* coherent and functional while drinking enough to seriously affect his health. For the longest time, we (my sister and I) would keep talking about what he could do to get better, how what he was doing was affecting both his well being and my mother's, but he never did anything about it.

He always knew what he had to do. Always knew what was wrong and why his health was deteriorating.

The human body is amazing. It can acclimatize to regular ingestion of toxins and function nearly normal… however, once you take that away, the systems are shocked and the mechanisms which keep the body functioning normally have no time to acclimatize to the lack of the toxin and what was once considered normal function is no longer normal.

My dad decided that it was time to quit drinking on Saturday (GOOD FOR HIM!!!), and he's now dealing with withdrawal symptoms.

This shit is fucked up.

I'm here babysitting for the next few days while his body gets back to normal. He has told me that he has a brisket in the oven, he's not able to stand up on his own, when he has fallen to the floor he's been telling me how to cooperate to get my mother off the floor, etc.

For any of you who have family dealing with a debilitating disease and their spouse is the primary care taker, please be prepared to get them into a long term care facility and start looking early. Also, look into mental health counselling for both parties.

Seriously, this shit sucks.

Good on your father for realizing it before it's too late, and wanting out of it. Stay strong for your family Rob.

Alcoholism is a terrible thing. My uncle has been near death several times in the last few years because of it. He gets out of the hospital and has his "friend" bring him another bottle. He kicks his own brothers out of his house because he doesn't want to hear that he has a problem. I expect that he will be the next funeral that I will attend.

Thanks guys, I just wanted you to know that when one thing goes wrong, it's usually not the only thing that goes wrong.

So much of research and funding goes to help the person with the disease, but the disease doesn't just affect that one person, and the help doesn't usually extend beyond that.

I'm glad he's decided to do this, I just wish he chose to do this under medical supervision.

There was a short survey done re: MS.

The sections on caregivers and progressive MS are directly relevant to my family.

Luckily Cara and I both have this time off, so we're kind of flexible.

My sister's a nurse, so she'll be taking over tomorrow/Thursday/Friday.

Rob, that's rough. Luckily for your dad he has a solid network of support around him to help him battle whatever comes his way. Just when you feel that you get into a rhythm of life there's always something that comes up, it's inevitable it seems. If there is anything you need that I could help with don't hesitate to call/text!
