I've had the 6 for a little over a week. I like the feels of the new shape (the rounded glass is really cool) but I miss the size of the 4.

I had the HTC One M7 with the 4.7" screen and found it to be perfect for me. Now I have the HTC One M8 which has the 5" screen and it's just at the point where it's too big to use naturally. 4.7" is the sweet spot IMO.

I like the link between iOS and osx, and wondered if there's a way to do that with a non apple iOS. I don't think I'll switch, just curious.

Photo stream, maps (send directions to iPhone from Mac), reminders list... The new osx is supposed to have a bunch of new syncing features too.

I'm thinking most things would be taken care of through Google services.

Maps - When you're signed in to your Google account on the computer and search Google Maps for directions, the last few from "recent history" pops up on my phone when I select the search field. That's how I use it when I need to pick up parts from a vendor or whatever.

Reminders - All built into Google as well. While I don't use it on my computer, I believe there are pop ups on your desktop through Google Chrome. Victoria and I share a Google calendar and coordinate personal stuff that way.

Photo Stream - This works through Google Drive. Personally, I have a lot of space in Dropbox, so I just use that as my backup.

I broke my phone yesterday... well, I drowned it.
Stuck in rice. No worky.

Going to stay with iPhone because it interfaces rather nicely with my RMT200 head unit, and I am rather appy these days.

I haven't gotten an upgrade on my handset in forever with Rogers because I kept buying my own used handsets. Therefore I have a bunch of credit.

Question remains, do I get a 6, or a 6 Plus? Would having a 6 Plus make me a girl?

I'm assuming I can get a rugged case for the 6, so it should be fine for fieldwork, but I am increasingly finding myself in an office role (upwards of 80% of my time in office this coming year vs ~60% in field prior).

Basically I want to get a 6 Plus and am finding ways to justify it. Help!

But these has bigger batteries n such.

You're saying this from a "it's a cult" standpoint? If so, I can understand and can respect that.

Really the head unit sync is the only real reason to get it, and I'm not sure that's a good reason.

Does your android allow you to drag/drop music and videos for later viewing? Or is there an itunes-esque interface you have to work through?

In a perfect world, android apps would work seamlessly with a blackberry.

I think the Passport is dead sexy.

Nothing to do with the cult thing, I just don't like stranglehold format. In terms of files my s5 is l like an external hard drive... Drag and drop files, make folders, etc. Expandable memory via micro SD. Battery wears out? Remove the cover and replace it.

As for battery life I use the shit out of my phone and for example it's at 67 percent currently at almost 8pm, didn't charge it all day. Stream music off the Internet during my commute, tethered it while I was out...

And in case it's a concern, long gone are the days of Android being a project. I'm running stock launcher and whatnot with no issues or desire to tinker.

AS a follow up to this,

Basically, Randy sends a message out (unknown contact to me, phone had yet to synchronize)... first message I receive on my new Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

It was about a boot, an accordion boot... which confused me, but it was from a 519 number so I figured Kartell.

Okay, then i get another message from an unknown number, saying "I just received a text to voice message about an accordion boot or something and I think it was you"

SO CONFUSED ... so I call the second texter, turns out to be Rick. By the time our convo is done, mystery texter number one was Randy... but man for a second there I was like WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW WITH PPL TALKIN BOUT BOOTS FROM MULTIPLE NUMBERS YO! HOW DO THEY KNOW EACH OTHER!
